- posted in Fallout 4 Mod Requests: For every TES or Fallout game there has been a monster mod released. But apparently not for FO4? I mean there are all these great weapon mods but no new enemies to kill with. Im hoping someone out there is secretly working on a monster mod right now. These mods just spice up the game so much and also increase the difficulty in a great way. Today we take a look at 11 more mods you can download for Fallout 4 that will help you create a truly scary or horrifying experience. These are scary mods in.

The new vegas mod, monster mod wasteland edition, has been set to hidden on the new vegas nexus. I was wondering if anyone had an extra copy whether it be the lore or full version of the mod. One of the latest mods for the PC version turns Fallout 4 into a post-nuclear Pokemon. PC Gamer spotted a new mod on the Nexusmods website from user NarcoticsDrugs, which allows players to recruit.

Fallout 4 monster hunter mod

Here There Be Monsters is a quest in Fallout 4.

Synopsis

At Boston Harbor, a small boy named Donny weaves tales of a sea monster lurking in the bay. The visible long neck of the monster gives credence to his claims, but not all's as it seems...

Walkthrough

Mod
  • The player has to talk to Donny to start the quest and then swim to the 'monster' and climb on top of the sail (the 'head' rises periodically to help the player keep their bearings). Turns out it's actually a Chinese submarine: Yangtze-class, vessel number 31.
    • Power armor is useless for this, as it sinks to the bottom. Don a hazmat suit or pop some Rad-X before swimming to minimize the danger.
  • Navigating through the derelict interior, the player will eventually find its Captain, Zao. Two centuries of being stuck in the bay after launching the missiles and running into a sea mine have given him a decent grasp of English on top of the intelligence he already had. Unfortunately, Zao is the only sane ghoul on the ship. He will explain his predicament and request that the player aid them in restoring the Yangtze to full functionality.
  • The first part of the solution requires the player to retrieve the nuclear dampening coil found at Saugus Ironworks. This requires fighting through Forged into the blast furnace and collecting it from the apparatus up the catwalks. The second involves navigating the foredecks of the submarine, fighting through the ghoulified remnants of the crew led by the feral First Mate, and reaching the missile room where a single nuclear warhead remains unlaunched. The processed fissile material inside can be cannibalized to power up the reactor.
  • Finally, the player has to enter the reactor core (heavily irradiated and place) the coil to stabilize the core, then insert the warhead material inside. The player should not put the warhead material inside without the coil, at least not without saving, as the core will melt down and there goes the neighborhood!
  • Report to Zao for the reward. Zao will be jubilant and reward the player with a good amount of gear (but sadly, not his uniform) for their assistance, together with three homing beacons to use with the remaining payloads onboard the Yangtze.

Fallout 4 players can get ready for one modder’s vision of a Fallout 76 experience with a mode that turns the most recent Fallout game into a griefer’s multiplayer paradise.

Modder SKK50 created a mod that’s aptly called Fallout 4-76, a mod that inserts the mechanics of Fallout 76 into Fallout 4. With the new Fallout game that’s coming out later this year including multiplayer, there have been some concerns that the feature that’s new to Fallout will prompt players to become griefers. For those who thankfully haven’t dealt with that type of player in the past, the term refers to someone who makes it their sole mission to make sure other players have a bad time, usually by killing them or preventing them from accomplishing a task.

To add the griefers that are meant to fill the role of other human players traversing the wasteland together, the mod removes many NPCs from the game. Diamond City, for example, removes 52 out of the 65 NPCs, SKK50 says in the mod’s description. To replicate the multiplayer experience, the mod adds “human” characters that follow you around and lob taunts at you while others will actively try to take you out.

“Random mixed human griefers will spawn and follow you, issuing half-witted taunt messages,” the mod description on Nexus Mods says. “Kill them all and more will turn up in time, like roaches on bad meat. If you run far enough away, that group will get bored and leave you alone ... for a while. From V004 a player to griefer level matching system (N00b, Scrub, L33t) is introduced to allow the Fallout 4-76 experience to start at Vault 111 exit with a fresh player.”

Those keeping up with Fallout 76 news will also know that you can launch nukes on the map. It’s been said that those won’t be too hard to avoid, but there’s still the ever-present danger of having a nuclear bomb dropped on you while you’re just doing your thing in Fallout 76. The nukes that have been added to Fallout 4 will always target players, though there are some measures in place to help you stay alive.

“Occasional nukes are launched at you with a minimal getaway warning. Sometimes they land back on the Griefers, as they are naturally unclever. Nukes will not be launched directly at red workshops, so you can do some arts and crafts in peace if you stay close. Note as this is a B.E.T.A. some nuke warnings may be missed, but your player deaths are helping debug my free product.”
